Rules and Regulations

rules-and-regs

Time Attack is serious business, the cars may resemble street tuned cars but underneath they are like any other race car, complex and in need of meeting safety and competition criteria to ensure fair classing and safety for drivers and spectators at all times.

We have rules for each class within Time Attack which all cars and teams need to abide by in terms of car construction, build, spec and format, all of which ae self policed and governed internally by the Series as self regulation.

The Rules and Regulations, like the rest of the Series have progressed since the first ever round of Time Attack and continue to be updated and altered as the sport moves forwards and mew challenges present themselves. There is only one rule which we define all other rules under – it’s not racing – its Time Attack – Therefore our rules differ from that of a normal race series.

If you are a competing driver or interested in taking part in 2009 please download and read these very carefully.

Your safety is paramount to the us and we instigate changes to these regulations as and when we see fit if they are in the interest of the competitors.

Any technical questions you may have please forward them to the Scrutineer : scrutineer@timeattack.co.uk
