Yeah Rob has the two graphs laid over each other from the 25/30's and the -10's, will post them up when I get them off him. As for a blast down the straights, looking forwards to it, hope you get it all back together soon mate. :)

John

Sadly john i doubt thats going to happen now as i can never get hold of him when i need to, so everything is getting pushed further and further back :( bloody frustrating to tell you truth as id been working bloody hard to get all the bits together. I didnt want the situation of having it put together a few days before an event. Was supposed to drop off the cams/valvesprings etc last night but couldnt get hold of him to confirm it was ok, so now weve lost another week and now its just too close.

So it looks like ill have to pull the plug on silverstone AGAIN. Hey ho :(

Been a bit busy getting the car ready for Silverstone, I removed the old turbos and let Tweenierob fit the new ones(dont mind taking things to bits :o ) After some testing of the new engine set up I am quite pleased with the results ;)

Last week I removed the old suspension arms and fitted the new Ikeya Formula stuff, first side took me nearly four hour's bloody things would no line up. That top arm is a complete nightmare to get right  anyway the drivers side next done and dusted in less than an hour, well chuffed. I measured the cars ride height from the floor, oh dear the passenger side was about 20mm higher than the drivers side. Put this down to the suspension bedding in and sitting correctly. Played about with the ride height to get the car looking neutral and then Claudio at Perfect Touch spent all day setting the geometry up, in his words " make sure you get the new arms the same F@*$ing length as the old ones, how hard can it be man" least to say I failed miserably  The front wheels where facing in oppsite directions
Had a quick blast down the A10 and came back smiling, the difference was unreal. Today I managed to fit the air box and an air feed from the front bumper vent, not much to do now. Just the brake master cylinder and fill her up will juice for Sunday, fingers crossed for some good weather.
Cant wait for Sunday now :D

Not a bloody penny, the car is a replica of the JGTC car from the early 90's. A few pics of the original that is hidden in the Nismo museum in Japan. These pics where taken at the Nismo Festival last year

if they don't pay.. they don't stay.. lots of generous space on a cracking car there to be had.. drop the replica graphics and bang on some that pay their way .. best new skyline in the comp for me. 8-)

and sure Toyo would like to see the Advan stickers disappear... [whistles...] ;)

thanks for the coments 8-) Advan are a wheel manufacturer from japan they sponsored the JGTC series for a while. I dont think they ran a control tyre in that series. We are in talks with some of the original sponsors, they are very interested in the car and Time Attack.

Sure - wasn't Advan Yokohama's wheel division and the branding is the same.. it's just details and sure folks wont mind as car looks soooo good.. :D

I hope all TA cars go as far as this when it comes to livery - would look proper JGTC..

I have to say that being an Italian car nut i tend to find anything else just okay but your car must be the nicest looking Nissan skyline i've seen. I hope your going to Oulton Park so i can get a closer look at it.
