Club Challenge 4WD - Subaru Impreza Hawkeye - Duncan Graham

The base car was bought new by Duncan in 2006 and has evolved over the period of the last three years into the track focused but still road-going car that it is. Plans for 2009 are:

Eco Friendly Credentials

With ongoing concern about global warming and renewable energy sources, Duncan runs the Subaru on BioEthanol E85.  Using BioEthanol it has reached the conservative power target of 550 bhp as well as showing that motorsport can go green.

Handling / Road Holding

Further development of the chassis, brakes and handling in conjunction with Zen Performance to enable the best use of speed on the circuits used in the series.

Driver Improvement

Nobody is perfect and frequent assessment and tuition throughout 2009 with the aid of Phil Glew (2007 TA Champion with Zen) will help to bring the best from the overall package of car and driver.

Wondering if your Subaru was a car that SHP fitted a roll cage to? I think it’s shown on SHP’s web site. Would value an opinion on what you thought of the work as I am considering having a full weld in cage done by SHP myself. SHP = Sonny Howard Preparations. Thanks.
