was another good day for the RSE Motorsport
team as once again their Mitsubishi Evo VIII put
in the fastest lap of the day to clinch maximum points in the Pro Class

Time Attack burst into 2009 with all the pace and ferocity you would expect as the teams descended on Oulton Park for Round One. After rain early on the skies soon cleared over the Cheshire circuit and it shone most heavily on Chris Ward in the RSE Motorsport EVO VIII. [MORE]

We are pleased to announce that 09' sponsor COSWORTH will be supplying all Time Attack Trophies for this years competitions.
There is a twist though, this year we will not be awarding the 'normal' cup trophies out to podium winners, instead we have teamed up with Cosworth and they have agreed to produce one-off Formula One engine component trophies as a special run of world exclusive trophies to celebrate their involvement with the worlds newest Motorsport - Time Attack.
The lifetime keepsakes will be made of genuine original F1 pistons, conrods and camshafts depending on the podium position and will be mounted and engraved with the achievements on them for presentation to the podium winners at the events with parts from the CK (Jordan/Stewart ) and TJ ( Jaguar/Torro Rosso ) F1 series engines.

'Cosworth has been keen to get on board with our Series for a couple of years and to have them on board this year is a major achievement for the Series and the teams/fans. Not only that but to have such unique and meaningful trophies on offer is simply amazing. We know the drivers and teams will fight hard to win these, for sure, they will have a lasting and lifetime effect on those that win them, a keepsake to hand down for generations to come, our big thanks to Cosworth for making such first class efforts for the teams and drivers in this years Series'.
These engine parts are actual components used in race engines that have unique history having been removed from various F1 cars/engines of recent times. Cosworth hire engines to teams, they do not buy them - so they get back all the engines and parts after races and it is these parts which will now form a spectacular lineup of some of the most exclusive trophies available in Motorsport which are in effect, priceless.
More information including pictures will be available shortly, the trophies are currently in production at Cosworth's HQ in Northampton.
