Background

Duncan has spent many years as a Rally co-driver and Auto testing minis in the 1980’s before calming down for a while.  After re-awakening his love of motorsport 2 years ago, he has attended numerous track days and trips to the Nurburgring to fuel his desire to get the best from the car and from himself.

He competed in one Time Attack event in 2007 at Knockhill having gained a late entry and loved the whole buzz of being involved in the event, the friendliness of the organisers, the competitors and loved the pressure of producing a time when it counted.  Despite running an almost std car at the time the result was creditable (even with horizontal scottish rain) and this year is setting out with much better performance and handling from his Impreza to help bring better results.

2008 brought onboard Area52AutoSport as a key supporter with assistance in the development of the new performance of the car and to benefit from their years of experience in tuning imprezas.  Along with the great team spirit from BigPower.co.uk, a club that Duncan co-founded, he is hoping to prove that the guys (and girls) from BigPower love to walk the walk in the UK’s top events and have lots of fun along the way.
