Background
I have been involved in non-competitive
motorsport for around 2 years now. I started off
in a track prepped 205 GTi before upgrading to
the Skyline. The Skyline arrived dockside from
Shetland, not Japan! It was full of ICE and LED
lights, not really my cup of tea. They lasted a
day before being ripped out and sold on. The car
has been completely transformed since and is
continually becoming more track focused.
I competed in the Knockhill round of Time Attack in 2007 and was hooked, despite breaking the power steering, blowing two holes in the intercooler, badgering the clutch, the list goes on! Any mechanical help at the events will be appreciated!!!!
I have received a lot of help from The Garage (www.the-garage.co.uk) in the last year. They have done most of the work on the car, are always at hand and willing to help when I break it.
Having only ventured as far as Knockhill, this year will bring some new experiences. Hopefully I will be able to get some practice at most of the tracks before the events so I’m not a complete novice!
