Background
I have been in the automotive industry since leaving school and had an interest in performance cars but my main passion was motorcycles. My ability to ride well soon lead me to motorcycle racing in the Formula 600 championship amongst others where I rode with good success. Having friends with fast road cars soon lead me down a new and exciting path which culminated in the movement into MGT Racing the Nissan Skyline specialists. Until now my focus had been on drag racing with a couple of wins including the Jap Racer Street car class in 2006 and a 9.9 sec pass at Santa Pod in a fully road going R32. I have not yet had any racing experience in cars but I am looking forward to this season's event as a tester to see how well my car and I can perform.
The GTR has been purchased and then developed to do track days with a focus on handling rather than outright power and MGT will be fine tuning the car as the series goes on.
