A word from Mike
Having bought an Impreza to help alleviate the boredom of travelling to and from work, I attended an SIDC (Subaru Impreza Drivers Club) track day and after my first 2 or 3 laps thought I would never go on track again ever!!! I had a coffee, calmed my nerves and went back out and had an absolute ball!!!
Having done several track days and some driver training, I slowly started to modify the car to provide more driveability on track. Then at the end of 2006 I decided that Time Attack would offer me the opportunity to test my skills against other drivers and be able to gauge my abilities.
So 2007 saw me competing and achieving two 6th positions and resulting in a 9th position overall… which considering I’d set a target of top 15, I was very happy…
My target for 2008 is to try and break into the top 5 and to improve on my 9th position overall.

This year I will be representing the Essex Scooby Crew. The Essex division of the Subaru Impreza Drivers Club. The club has put there full support behind me and we hope to show the country how we do things in sunny Essex!!
