Background:

Phil began his motorsport career in cadet kart racing eventually progressing to single-seater series starting with Formula Ford Zetec and Formula Renault. Recent career highlights include runner up position in the 2004 Formula BMW Championships, a race win in the 2006 British GT3 Championship, multiple race wins in the Caterham Eurocup 2007, the series win for ZEN Performance in Pro-Class Time Attack 2007 and a very creditable 11^th place (out of 64 cars) for ZEN at the 18^th Annual RevSpeed Tsukuba SuperBattle at Tsukuba Circuit, Japan..
