Background: 

2008 is Sam's 2nd season in Time Attack, 2007 Saw Sam competing in his P1 road car, after taking several podiums during the year he only just missing a 3rd overall in the championship at the end of the season.

This year he is competing with a car built to suit the job, originally the car had been built with the Irish drag racing championship in mind but the spec has been altered to suit the Time Attack series.

Alterations included Aero additions, Front and Rear spoilers, Battery isolator, Plumbed fire extinguisher and a few other bits and pieces to keep the scrutIneer happy.

The car build complete was undertaken by performancesubaru.com based on what originally started out as a White WRX RA which was stripped to a bare shell and rebuilt to current spec.

All work (apart from welding) was carried out in-house, including engine build, suspension install and setup and corner weighting, as well as supply of all parts used in the building of the car and engine.

Currently the car is running full weight with door cards, full dash, heater box etc.. and all original steel panels, before the end of the season a strict diet may be enforced.
