Round 7 of the 2026 Time Attack Championship brought the season back to where it began, with Cadwell Park hosting the finale as part of Modified Live.
Near-perfect conditions provided one final opportunity to attack the stopwatch, and the season certainly didn’t fade quietly. Andrew Gallacher and Colin Dorward produced an exceptionally close fight at the head of Pro, Vincent Fan returned to winning ways in Club and the final Super Attack sessions delivered a string of new class records.
With the final competitive laps now complete, attention will soon turn to the Championship standings — but first, there was a season finale to settle on track.
PRO — GALLACHER EDGES DORWARD IN 0.090-SECOND FINALE
Andrew Gallacher started strongly in the Omnitool/AG Motorsport Mitsubishi Evo, topping Warm Up with a 1:27.653, just 0.098 seconds ahead of Luke Sedzikowski.
By Attack 1, the fight at the front had become incredibly tight. Gallacher lowered the pace to 1:26.931, with Colin Dorward just 0.021 seconds behind on a 1:26.952.
Dorward responded in Attack 2, turning the tables with a 1:26.435 to move ahead of Gallacher’s 1:26.738 and establish a new Pro class record in the process.
That left everything poised for Super Attack — and Gallacher produced the final response.
A 1:26.357 secured the Pro victory and lowered the class record once again, with Dorward stopping the clock at 1:26.447— just 0.090 seconds separating the pair. Bradley John completed the top three with a 1:27.694.
Club Pro also ended with a new benchmark. Aleksandr Volkov delivered a 1:29.922 in the Nissan GT-R to take the class ahead of Dean Taylor and establish a new Club Pro record.
👉 Key takeaway: Gallacher and Dorward traded the advantage throughout the day, but Gallacher delivered when it mattered most — taking the final Super Attack victory by just nine hundredths of a second and leaving Cadwell with a new Pro lap record.
CLUB CLASS — FAN RETURNS TO THE TOP
Ryan Barker set the early pace in Club, his K24-powered Renault Megane topping Warm Up with a 1:34.341, ahead of Neil Robson and Jonny Fletcher.
Vincent Fan then moved to the front in Attack 1. His 1:33.055 put the Toyota GR Supra 1.256 seconds clear of Barker, with Luke Capehorn third.
Barker was unable to record a time in Attack 2, while Fan remained at the head of the order with a 1:34.868. Andrew Kime moved into second with a 1:35.759, ahead of Jonny Fletcher and Neil Robson.
Fan then saved his quickest lap for Super Attack.
A 1:32.815 secured the final Club victory of the season and established a new Club 2WD lap record. Robson produced a strong 1:34.013 to take second, with Kime third on 1:34.828 and Capehorn fourth on 1:35.358.

CLUBMAN / POCKET ROCKET / CLASSIC & RETRO — RECORDS TUMBLE IN SUPER ATTACK
The combined classes produced some of the strongest progression of the day, with several drivers finding their best pace when it mattered most.
Clive Hopwell led the way from the outset in Clubman, topping Warm Up before heading both Attack sessions in the MMT Performance Volkswagen Golf R. His times fell from 1:37.141 in Warm Up to 1:35.953 in Attack 1 and 1:35.934 in Attack 2.
There was still more to come.
Hopwell produced a 1:35.058 in Super Attack to secure the Clubman victory and establish a new class record.
Pocket Rocket Naturally Aspirated saw Michael Hume deliver another impressive final-session performance. The Renault Clio driver recorded a 1:36.008, taking the class and establishing a new PR NA record ahead of Cameron Allflatt and Luke Krassismenou.
Gary Papworth completed the trio of record-breaking Super Attack performances. His 1:37.121 secured Pocket Rocket Forced Induction honours and lowered the PR FI benchmark at Cadwell Park.
Darren Wilson represented Classic & Retro during the competitive sessions, recording a 1:40.935 in Attack 1 aboard the Track Car Composites Subaru Impreza WRX.

Seven rounds of competition have now come to an end, with the final laps of the 2026 Time Attack Championship completed at Cadwell Park.
Gallacher, Volkov, Fan, Hopwell, Hume and Papworth all leave the season finale with new Cadwell Park class records confirmed by the official record sheet.
Attention now turns to the final Championship standings. All points, dropped scores and tied positions will be calculated and checked before the final positions are confirmed.
The 2026 Time Attack Champions will be officially announced shortly, bringing the curtain down on another fiercely contested season.
