Congratulations to Andrew Gallacher, our 2026 Time Attack Pro Champion!

Driving the Omnitool/AG Motorsport Mitsubishi Evo, Andrew was a consistent presence at the sharp end throughout a fiercely competitive Pro season. With different drivers taking their turn at the front as the year unfolded, Andrew kept himself firmly in the championship fight and carried that challenge all the way to the season finale.

Fittingly, it ended with Andrew and Colin Dorward going head-to-head at Cadwell Park. After trading the advantage throughout the day, Andrew delivered when it mattered in Super Attack, topping Pro at the season finale and setting a new Pro class record along the way.

Congratulations also go to Colin Dorward, who finishes the season 2nd in the Pro Championship, and Josh Barrett, who takes 3rd after a strong season that saw him regularly feature amongst the Pro frontrunners.

Driving the Norfolk Mini Racing Mini Cooper S, Gary produced one of the standout campaigns of the 2026 season. From the opening round onwards, he established himself as the benchmark in Pocket Rocket FI and remarkably carried a perfect record through the first six rounds, consistently finding the performance when it mattered most.

That didn’t mean he had things all his own way. Jake Langley remained a strong presence throughout the championship, while Joe Bullen increasingly showed his pace as the season progressed. At the second Brands Hatch visit, Joe topped both Attack sessions before Gary responded in Super Attack to maintain his unbeaten run.

Gary then completed an exceptional season at Cadwell Park, once again topping Pocket Rocket FI and signing off his championship-winning campaign with a new class record.

Congratulations to Ka Chun Vincent Fan, our 2026 Time Attack Club 2WD Champion!

Driving the Toyota GR Supra, Vincent started the season in formidable fashion, establishing himself as the early benchmark in Club 2WD and taking the honours at each of the opening four rounds. As the season developed, however, the competition began to close in, with Ryan Barker, Luke Capehorn and the rest of the Club 2WD field increasingly taking the fight to him.

The momentum shifted late in the year as Ryan Barker broke through at Snetterton and followed it with another strong performance at Brands Hatch, ensuring Vincent’s route to the title was anything but straightforward.

Vincent responded in the best possible way at the Cadwell Park finale. After Ryan set the early pace, Vincent moved to the front in the competitive sessions and finished his season by topping Club 2WD and establishing a new class record.

Congratulations to Dean Riley, our 2026 Time Attack Classic & Retro Champion!

Driving the Mickeytoones Racing Vauxhall VX220, Dean produced one of the standout campaigns of the entire 2026 Time Attack season, establishing himself as the benchmark in Classic & Retro from the opening round and never relinquishing his grip on the class.

As the season unfolded, Dean continued to combine consistency with outright pace. At Brands Hatch he completed a clean sweep of the competitive sessions, while at Snetterton he once again came out on top and established a new Classic & Retro class record.

His remarkable run continued at the second Brands Hatch visit, where Dean lowered the class benchmark three times during the day before topping Super Attack. That result completed a perfect six class honours from six rounds entered and brought his championship campaign to a fitting conclusion.

Congratulations also go to Darren Wilson, who finishes the season 2nd in the Classic & Retro Championship, and Michael Grennhough, who takes 3rd.

Round 7 of the 2026 Time Attack Championship brought the season back to where it began, with Cadwell Park hosting the finale as part of Modified Live.

Near-perfect conditions provided one final opportunity to attack the stopwatch, and the season certainly didn’t fade quietly. Andrew Gallacher and Colin Dorward produced an exceptionally close fight at the head of Pro, Vincent Fan returned to winning ways in Club and the final Super Attack sessions delivered a string of new class records.

With the final competitive laps now complete, attention will soon turn to the Championship standings — but first, there was a season finale to settle on track.

PRO — GALLACHER EDGES DORWARD IN 0.090-SECOND FINALE

Andrew Gallacher started strongly in the Omnitool/AG Motorsport Mitsubishi Evo, topping Warm Up with a 1:27.653, just 0.098 seconds ahead of Luke Sedzikowski.

By Attack 1, the fight at the front had become incredibly tight. Gallacher lowered the pace to 1:26.931, with Colin Dorward just 0.021 seconds behind on a 1:26.952.

Dorward responded in Attack 2, turning the tables with a 1:26.435 to move ahead of Gallacher’s 1:26.738 and establish a new Pro class record in the process.

That left everything poised for Super Attack — and Gallacher produced the final response.

A 1:26.357 secured the Pro victory and lowered the class record once again, with Dorward stopping the clock at 1:26.447— just 0.090 seconds separating the pair. Bradley John completed the top three with a 1:27.694.

Club Pro also ended with a new benchmark. Aleksandr Volkov delivered a 1:29.922 in the Nissan GT-R to take the class ahead of Dean Taylor and establish a new Club Pro record.

👉 Key takeaway: Gallacher and Dorward traded the advantage throughout the day, but Gallacher delivered when it mattered most — taking the final Super Attack victory by just nine hundredths of a second and leaving Cadwell with a new Pro lap record.

CLUB CLASS — FAN RETURNS TO THE TOP

Ryan Barker set the early pace in Club, his K24-powered Renault Megane topping Warm Up with a 1:34.341, ahead of Neil Robson and Jonny Fletcher.

Vincent Fan then moved to the front in Attack 1. His 1:33.055 put the Toyota GR Supra 1.256 seconds clear of Barker, with Luke Capehorn third.

Barker was unable to record a time in Attack 2, while Fan remained at the head of the order with a 1:34.868. Andrew Kime moved into second with a 1:35.759, ahead of Jonny Fletcher and Neil Robson.

Fan then saved his quickest lap for Super Attack.

A 1:32.815 secured the final Club victory of the season and established a new Club 2WD lap record. Robson produced a strong 1:34.013 to take second, with Kime third on 1:34.828 and Capehorn fourth on 1:35.358.

👉 Key takeaway: After Barker set the early pace, Fan took control of the competitive sessions and finished the season with victory and a new Cadwell Park Club 2WD record.

CLUBMAN / POCKET ROCKET / CLASSIC & RETRO — RECORDS TUMBLE IN SUPER ATTACK

The combined classes produced some of the strongest progression of the day, with several drivers finding their best pace when it mattered most.

Clive Hopwell led the way from the outset in Clubman, topping Warm Up before heading both Attack sessions in the MMT Performance Volkswagen Golf R. His times fell from 1:37.141 in Warm Up to 1:35.953 in Attack 1 and 1:35.934 in Attack 2.

There was still more to come.

Hopwell produced a 1:35.058 in Super Attack to secure the Clubman victory and establish a new class record.

Pocket Rocket Naturally Aspirated saw Michael Hume deliver another impressive final-session performance. The Renault Clio driver recorded a 1:36.008, taking the class and establishing a new PR NA record ahead of Cameron Allflatt and Luke Krassismenou.

Gary Papworth completed the trio of record-breaking Super Attack performances. His 1:37.121 secured Pocket Rocket Forced Induction honours and lowered the PR FI benchmark at Cadwell Park.

Darren Wilson represented Classic & Retro during the competitive sessions, recording a 1:40.935 in Attack 1 aboard the Track Car Composites Subaru Impreza WRX.

👉 Key takeaway: Hopwell, Hume and Papworth all produced their quickest laps in Super Attack, each ending the 2026 season with a class victory and a new Cadwell Park record.

Round 6 of the 2026 Time Attack Championship brought competitors back to Brands Hatch for Go Japan, one of the biggest dates on the calendar and the penultimate round of the season.

The familiar Indy circuit produced some very different stories from the Championship’s previous visit in June. Luke Sedzikowski returned to competition and controlled the Pro category, while Ryan Barker delivered when it mattered in Club to secure his second consecutive victory and take the Club 2WD lap record.

PRO — Sedzikowski Controls the Day on His Return

After missing Snetterton, Luke Sedzikowski returned to the Championship in commanding fashion aboard the Tegiwa Racing Honda NSX.

Sedzikowski established himself at the top of the timesheets in Warm Up and remained there throughout the day. A 46.673 put him ahead of Andrew Gallacher in Attack 1 before he improved to 46.232 in Attack 2, his quickest lap of the event.

Super Attack brought another strong performance. Sedzikowski recorded a 46.318 to secure the Pro victory, with Gallacher second on 47.350 and Josh Barrett third with a 47.464.

Club Pro provided a much tighter conclusion. Aleksandr Volkov and Dean Taylor headed into Super Attack separated by little over half a second on their best Attack 2 times, but both found more pace in the final session.

Taylor produced a 48.842, only for Volkov to respond with a 48.694, taking the Club Pro victory by just 0.148 seconds and establishing a new Club Pro lap record in the process.

👉 Key takeaway: Sedzikowski returned to competition and immediately re-established himself at the front, while Volkov saved his best lap of the day for Super Attack to secure Club Pro honours and a new class record.

CLUB CLASS — Barker Delivers When It Matters Again

For much of the day, Vincent Fan appeared to have regained control of Club.

Fan topped Warm Up before leading both Attack sessions in the Toyota GR Supra. His pace improved from 50.847 in Attack 1 to 50.779 in Attack 2, establishing a new Club 2WD lap record. Behind him, Luke Capehorn and Ryan Barker remained firmly in contention, with Barker third in Attack 2 on 51.240.

But once again, Super Attack changed the picture.

Barker produced his fastest lap of the entire day when it mattered most. A 50.655 in the K24-powered Renault Megane moved him ahead of Fan’s earlier benchmark and established another new Club 2WD lap record.

Capehorn also found more pace, recording a 50.867 to take second, while Fan’s 50.919 left him third in the final session. Just 0.264 seconds covered the leading three.

For Barker, it completed back-to-back victories following his breakthrough at Snetterton and confirmed a significant shift in the Club battle after Fan had opened the season with four consecutive wins.

👉 Key takeaway: Fan controlled the early sessions, but Barker once again delivered in Super Attack, taking a second consecutive victory and the Club 2WD lap record with his final-session charge.

CLUBMAN / POCKET ROCKET / CLASSIC & RETRO — Riley Makes It Six from Six

Dean Riley continued his remarkable run in Classic & Retro, leading the combined group throughout the day in the Mickeytoones Racing Vauxhall VX220.

Riley began Warm Up with a 51.691 before immediately moving into record territory. His 51.250 in Attack 1 established a new Classic & Retro benchmark, which he lowered again to 51.174 in Attack 2.

There was still more to come.

A 50.813 in Super Attack put Riley comfortably quickest across the combined session and lowered the Classic & Retro lap record for a third time during the day. More importantly, it secured his sixth class victory from six rounds and maintained his perfect record heading into the season finale.

Clubman honours went to Clive Hopwell in the MMT Performance Volkswagen Golf R, while David Dyson took Clubman+ in the Porsche 991.2 T.

Pocket Rocket Naturally Aspirated produced one of the closest finishes of the entire event. Championship leader Michael Hume was sidelined by engine trouble after Warm Up, leaving Luke Krassismenou and Cameron Allflatt to contest the final session. Krassismenou produced a 53.706 in the Honda Civic EP3, with Allflatt just 0.015 seconds behind on 53.721. It gave Krassismenou his second consecutive class victory following his breakthrough at Snetterton.

Gary Papworth also maintained his perfect run in Pocket Rocket Forced Induction. Joe Bullen had set the pace in both Attack sessions, but Papworth came through in Super Attack with a 52.893 to claim his sixth class victory from six rounds in the Norfolk Mini Racing Cooper S.

👉 Key takeaway: Riley and Papworth extended their perfect class records to six wins from six, while Krassismenou emerged from an incredibly close Pocket Rocket NA contest with his second consecutive victory.

Unsung Hero

Away from the timesheets, there was some impressive teamwork in the paddock when Colin Dorward’s Mitsubishi Evo needed a replacement clutch line.

The solution came from an unlikely source. Dorward’s crew borrowed the required line from commentator Suzy’s Evo, fitted it to the Time Attack car for the afternoon and then returned and refitted it to Suzy’s car in time for the journey home.

Round 5 of the 2026 Time Attack Championship took competitors to the Snetterton 300 circuit as part of Modified Live, where long straights, high-speed sections and the technical infield created a demanding test across the Time Attack field.

The day produced contrasting stories at the front. Colin Dorward controlled the Pro category from start to finish, while Club delivered one of the biggest changes of the season as Vincent Fan’s run of Super Attack victories came to an end and Ryan Barker seized his opportunity.

PRO — Dorward Sets the Pace from Start to Finish

Colin Dorward delivered a commanding performance aboard the G-R Performance Track Formula Evo, topping every session across the day to claim his second Pro victory of the season.

The closest challenge came early. Bradley John put his Riverside Racing Mitsubishi Evo IX just 0.016 seconds behind Dorward in Attack 1, producing one of the smallest margins of the event.

Dorward remained at the top in Attack 2 before completing the job in Super Attack with a 1:53.838. Josh Barrett found his best pace of the day when it mattered most to take second in the Caterham 620R, 1.206 seconds behind, with Andrew Gallacher completing the Pro top three.

In Club Pro, Aleksandr Volkov continued his strong campaign in the Nissan GT-R. Volkov led the class through each timed session and established a new Club Pro lap record of 1:56.413 during Attack 2.

👉 Key takeaway: Dorward never surrendered the top spot, converting early pressure into a controlled second Pro victory of the season.

CLUB CLASS — Barker Capitalises as Fan’s Run is Interrupted

Club produced the biggest change to the established order.

Championship leader Vincent Fan initially looked on course to continue his run of victories, topping both Attack sessions in the Toyota GR Supra. His 2:02.452 in Attack 1 also established a new Club 2WD lap record around the Snetterton 300 circuit.

Behind him, Ryan Barker and Luke Capehorn continued to apply pressure. Barker moved into second in Attack 2 with a 2:04.101, setting up an intriguing final-session contest.

Super Attack then changed everything.

Fan completed only one lap and failed to register a timed lap, leaving the final session wide open. Barker responded with a 2:03.119 in the K24-powered Renault Megane to secure the class victory, 0.631 seconds clear of Capehorn, with Andrew Kime third in the Citroën Saxo.

It brought Fan’s run of four consecutive victories to an end and gave Barker the breakthrough result after repeatedly featuring among the leading Club contenders throughout the season.

👉 Key takeaway: Fan still produced the fastest Club lap of the day, but when Super Attack opened up, Barker was there to take full advantage.

CLUBMAN / POCKET ROCKET / CLASSIC & RETRO — Riley Leads as Krassismenou Fights Back

Dean Riley delivered another impressive performance in Classic & Retro, progressively finding pace as the day unfolded in the Mickeytoones Racing Vauxhall VX220.

After a 2:05.320 in Attack 1, Riley improved to 2:04.976 in Attack 2 before producing his best lap in Super Attack. A 2:03.820 put him quickest across the entire combined session and established a new Classic & Retro lap record.

Clubman remained closely contested, with David Dyson taking the class result ahead of Clive Hopwell, the pair separated by just 0.090 seconds in Super Attack.

One of the standout paddock stories, however, came from Pocket Rocket Naturally Aspirated.

Luke Krassismenou and his team were forced into a gearbox change on the Honda Civic EP3 between Warm Up and Attack 1. Their work kept the car in the event, and Krassismenou steadily moved into contention before producing a 2:10.870 in Super Attack to take his first class victory and establish a new Pocket Rocket NA lap record.

Gary Papworth continued his strong season in Pocket Rocket Forced Induction. The Norfolk Mini Racing Cooper S led the class through the timed sessions and saved its quickest lap for Super Attack, recording a 2:07.331 to take another victory and lower the Pocket Rocket FI lap record.

👉 Key takeaway: Riley and Papworth continued their impressive form, while Krassismenou turned a major morning setback into a first class victory and new benchmark.

Round 4 of the 2026 Time Attack Championship took competitors to Oulton Park as part of Tunerfest North, where one of the UK’s fastest and most demanding circuits rewarded commitment, confidence and precision in equal measure.

Across the day, familiar frontrunners continued to strengthen their championship campaigns, while close battles unfolded throughout the field. Oulton Park also witnessed a series of new class benchmarks as drivers extracted more pace from both their machinery and the challenging International circuit.

PRO — Sedzikowski Untouchable as Battle Rages Behind

Luke Sedzikowski delivered one of the most commanding performances of the season, leading every competitive session aboard the Tegiwa Racing Honda NSX.

From the opening Attack session, Sedzikowski established a clear advantage over the rest of the Pro field, setting the benchmark by more than four seconds before repeating the feat in Attack 2 and completing a clean sweep in Super Attack. His pace around Oulton Park also established new Pro and Pro 2WD circuit benchmarks.
While Sedzikowski enjoyed clear air at the front, the battle behind proved far closer.

Attack 2 saw Andrew Barbour edge Josh Barrett by just 0.166 seconds in the fight for third, before Super Attack produced another tightly contested contest as Barbour, Barrett and Andrew Gallacher were covered by less than a second.

In Club Pro, Aleksandr Volkov returned to winning form after Brands Hatch, consistently leading the class throughout the day in the Nissan GT-R. His Super Attack performance also established a new Club Pro benchmark for the Oulton Park International circuit.
👉 Key takeaway: Sedzikowski was in a class of his own, while the fight behind remained one of the closest contests of the day.

CLUB CLASS — Fan Makes It Four From Four

Vincent Fan’s remarkable start to the season continued as the Toyota GR Supra remained unbeaten through four rounds of the championship.

Fan set the pace from the opening warm-up before comfortably topping both Attack sessions, repeatedly finding more than two seconds over his nearest challengers around the 2.69-mile circuit.
Behind him, however, the battle for the remaining podium positions intensified.

Ryan Barker, Luke Capehorn and Mike Butler traded places throughout the timed sessions, with only hundredths of a second separating the trio in Attack 2.

Super Attack then took an unexpected turn when a red flag curtailed the session, leaving competitors with limited opportunities to complete representative laps. As the session resumed, Barker produced a late improvement to secure second place, narrowly ahead of Capehorn, while Neil Robson and Andrew Kime remained firmly in contention throughout the afternoon.

Fan’s Attack 1 performance also established a new Club 2WD benchmark around Oulton Park International, further underlining his impressive start to the championship.

Away from the timesheets, one of the paddock stories belonged to Radu Stan. After suffering a cracked supercharger manifold on his home-built Mazda RX-8, an impromptu repair with help from fellow competitor Andrew Gallacher kept the car circulating and ensured his weekend continued.

👉 Key takeaway: Four rounds, four victories — but the competition behind Fan continues to grow stronger with every event.

CLUBMAN / POCKET ROCKET / CLASSIC & RETRO — Dyson Peaks at the Perfect Time

One of the closest contests of the weekend unfolded in Clubman, where Clive Hopwell and David Dyson traded the advantage throughout the day.

Hopwell struck first by topping Attack 1 before edging Dyson by just 0.026 seconds in Attack 2. But when Super Attack arrived, Dyson produced the decisive lap of the weekend, guiding the Ninemeister Porsche GT to the quickest Clubman time and establishing a new class benchmark around Oulton Park International.
Dean Riley once again demonstrated his consistency in Classic & Retro. The Vauxhall VX220 remained at the sharp end throughout the event, securing another class victory and adding another Oulton Park benchmark to an already impressive season.

Pocket Rocket Naturally Aspirated saw Michael Hume continue his excellent run of form in the Honda-powered Renault Clio 182, while Gary Papworth claimed another Pocket Rocket Forced Induction victory in the Norfolk Mini Racing Cooper S. Both drivers also lowered the established class benchmarks around the International circuit.

👉 Key takeaway: Dyson timed his charge to perfection, while Riley, Hume and Papworth continued to build outstandingly consistent seasons.

Full Results

View the complete event results, timing sheets and official event documents on the Oulton Park event page.

Next Stop: Snetterton

The 2026 Time Attack Championship now heads to Snetterton on 2nd August, where the longest circuit on the calendar presents a very different challenge.

With championship leaders beginning to emerge but margins remaining exceptionally close behind them, the second half of the season promises to be just as fiercely contested as the opening four rounds.

Following the continued success of its 2024 and 2025 fundraising initiatives, Club Time Attack is proud to confirm that our charitable efforts will continue into the 2026 season. This year, the organisation will support two causes: the Isle of Sheppey Band and Mission Motorsport.

After nearly 80 years as part of St John Ambulance, The Isle of Sheppey Band ( the last remaining band of its kind in the UK ) has become an independent organisation. This has allowed the band to expand its reach and impact across the island, providing inclusive access to music for children, young people and adults alike. With a strong emphasis on community and intergenerational learning, the band offers a welcoming environment where individuals of all backgrounds can develop musical skills and confidence.

As part of this partnership, the Isle of Sheppey Band will perform at two major Time Attack Organisation events in 2026:

Brands Hatch Tunerfest South – 14 June (Event 4)

Brands Hatch Go Japan – 31 August (Event 7)

These performances will place the band in front of thousands of attendees, offering a unique opportunity to showcase their talent while representing the Isle of Sheppey on a national stage.

The Isle of Sheppey Band is local to Club Time Attack’s HQ in Sheerness, Kent and was chosen by its staff as a local cause.

Richard Broster from the Isle of Sheppey Band said: “We’re incredibly proud to be performing at Brands Hatch. It’s an iconic venue, and to be part of such a high-energy event is a fantastic opportunity for the band. Moments like this show just how far we’ve come, and we’re excited to represent the Isle of Sheppey on such an occasion.”

Alongside this, Club Time Attack will also raise funds for Mission Motorsport, a UK-based charity dedicated to supporting the recovery and rehabilitation of wounded, injured and sick service personnel and veterans. Operating under its powerful motto, “Race, Retrain, Recover,” the charity uses motorsport as a pathway to rebuild confidence, develop new skills and create opportunities for sustainable careers within the automotive industry.

Laura Westrope from Mission Motorsport said: “We’re incredibly proud to be named as a Time Attack supported charity. Motorsport sits at the heart of what we do and partnerships like this give us the chance to reach more people, share our work, and ultimately support more members of the Armed Forces Community as they rebuild their lives beyond service.”

Throughout the 2026 season, a range of fundraising initiatives will contribute to supporting both charities. These include:

Late payment entry fee penalties, as outlined within championship regulations

Driver tyre raffles, with tyres generously supplied by Yokohama Tyres

An end-of-season Club Time Attack raffle

A headline raffle prize of a full-season driver entry into a Club Time Attack Championship

Additional fundraising activities introduced across the season

Andy Barnes, Chairman of Club Time Attack, said:
“I am delighted to confirm our Club support for two great charities this season, splitting our support between something local and nationwide. We are in a position to help others via these very simple initiatives through our racing season and I thank everyone in advance for contributing and playing their part to raise money as best they can. I hope we can hand over significant sums once again ‘’

The 2026 Time Attack Championship arrived at Brands Hatch as part of Tunerfest South, where the compact and technical Indy circuit delivered a very different challenge to the opening rounds at Cadwell Park and Donington Park.

With limited straight-line running and an increased emphasis on chassis balance and precision, Brands Hatch proved capable of reshuffling the established order. By the end of the day, new winners had emerged, familiar frontrunners had been pushed harder than ever, and several class benchmarks had been lowered around one of the championship’s most demanding layouts.

PRO — Dorward Arrives Late and Takes Control

The Pro category delivered its third different winner in as many rounds as Colin Dorward returned to the championship and immediately established himself as the driver to beat.

Josh Barrett initially set the pace in Attack 1, putting the Barrett Racing Caterham 620R at the top of the timesheets and securing his first session victory of the season. But the picture changed dramatically in Attack 2 when Dorward’s Track Formula Evo arrived at the top of the leaderboard with a 48.121-second lap.

The G-R Performance driver then lowered the benchmark again in Super Attack, producing a 47.883-second lap to secure overall victory and become the third different Pro winner from the opening three events.

Behind him, the Club Pro battle became one of the closest contests of the day. Aleksandr Volkov looked on course to continue his winning streak after leading much of Super Attack, but Dean Taylor found more time in the closing stages to edge ahead and secure his first Club Pro victory of the season.

Volkov remained within striking distance throughout, while Mike Taylor and Ilya Krylov continued their consistent campaigns in a tightly packed Club Pro field.

👉 Key takeaway: Brands Hatch produced another new Pro winner, underlining just how open the 2026 title fight has become.

CLUB CLASS — Fan Survives the Pressure

For the first time this season, Vincent Fan looked genuinely vulnerable.

The Toyota GR Supra driver returned to the top of the timesheets in Attack 1, but the chasing pack was closer than ever. Jonny Fletcher, Ryan Barker, Luke Capehorn and Neil Robson all remained firmly in contention as the margins tightened around the Indy circuit.

Attack 2 delivered the biggest surprise of the day when Capehorn’s Vauxhall Astra dethroned Fan by just 0.025 seconds. Having finally returned to full power with a revised engine package, Capehorn looked poised to take the fight all the way into Super Attack.

Unfortunately, his challenge came to an abrupt end when he failed to complete a representative lap in the final session.

That left the door open for Fan, but victory was far from straightforward.

Neil Robson produced his strongest challenge yet in the BMW 135i, finishing just 0.128 seconds behind the Supra in Super Attack, while Jonny Fletcher completed another impressive performance to finish third.

Ultimately, Fan delivered when it mattered most, producing a 50.985-second lap to secure another Club Class victory despite facing more pressure than at any previous round this season.

👉 Key takeaway: Fan remained unbeaten, but Brands Hatch showed the gap to the chasing pack is continuing to close.

CLUBMAN / POCKET ROCKET / CLASSIC & RETRO — Riley Leads a Day of New Benchmarks

The combined Clubman, Pocket Rocket and Classic & Retro categories once again produced some of the closest competition of the event, with several drivers lowering established Brands Hatch benchmarks throughout the day.

Dean Riley was one of the standout performers of the weekend. The Mickeytoones Racing Vauxhall VX220 topped Attack 1, Attack 2 and Super Attack to complete a clean sweep in Classic & Retro while also finishing as the quickest driver of the combined categories.

Clive Hopwell continued his strong form in Clubman, placing his Volkswagen Golf R at the top of the class in every session and steadily lowering the pace benchmark as conditions evolved through the afternoon.

David Dyson remained his closest challenger throughout in the Ninemeister Porsche, but was unable to prevent Hopwell from securing another Clubman victory.

In Pocket Rocket Naturally Aspirated, Michael Hume’s Honda-powered Renault Clio 182 continued its impressive run of form. Hume topped every session in class and lowered the benchmark pace on multiple occasions during the day.

Pocket Rocket Forced Induction delivered a slightly different story. Gary Papworth led the category through the timed sessions, but Super Attack saw Tommy Langley’s Ford Fiesta edge ahead on outright pace. As a Single Round Entry, however, Langley remained outside the championship classification, leaving Papworth to secure another important class victory.

By the end of the event, new Brands Hatch benchmarks had been established in Classic & Retro, Clubman and Pocket Rocket Naturally Aspirated, underlining just how competitive the field had become.

👉 Key takeaway: Riley, Hopwell and Hume combined outright pace with consistency as several class benchmarks moved forward around Brands Hatch Indy.

Next Stop: Oulton Park

The 2026 Time Attack Championship now heads north to Oulton Park on 4th July as part of Tunerfest North.

With three rounds complete, multiple winners already established and margins continuing to tighten across the field, the battle for championship honours is building momentum heading into the second half of the season.

The 2026 Time Attack Championship continued at Donington Park during JDM JAM, with rising temperatures, evolving track conditions and increasingly fine margins creating one of the most competitive events of the season so far.

Across the day, benchmark times continued shifting between sessions as drivers searched for late-session pace in Super Attack, while several categories produced dramatic reversals as conditions and reliability began to influence the outcome.

PRO — Sedzikowski Strikes Late to Take Super Attack Honours

The Pro category produced one of the closest finishes of the entire event as Luke Sedzikowski delivered a late-session turnaround to secure the quickest overall time of the day in the Tegiwa Racing Honda NSX.

Andrew Gallacher initially looked to have established control of the category, topping both Attack 1 and Attack 2 in the AG Motorsport Mitsubishi Evo while steadily lowering the benchmark pace through the afternoon.

But Super Attack completely reshaped the order.

After only appearing in Attack 2, Sedzikowski found significant pace in the final session, producing a 1:07.812 lap to edge ahead of Gallacher by just 0.172 seconds in one of the tightest margins of the day.

Andrew Barbour remained consistently in contention throughout in the AKB Racing Evo IX, while Josh Barrett showed strong early pace in the Caterham 620R before dropping out of the final Super Attack classification.

In Club Pro, Aleksandr Volkov secured a second consecutive class victory in the Nissan R35 GT-R after another composed and reliable performance across the timed sessions.

👉 Key takeaway: Super Attack once again proved decisive, with Sedzikowski delivering the final-session pace to overturn Gallacher’s earlier advantage.

CLUB CLASS — Fan Responds Under Pressure

After dominating proceedings at Cadwell Park, Vincent Fan faced a far greater challenge at Donington Park as the Club Class battle tightened significantly across all three sessions.

Ryan Barker struck first in Attack 1 aboard the Renault K24 Megane, narrowly edging Jamie Hadley and Fan in an incredibly compressed leading group where less than three tenths separated the top three drivers.

Fan responded immediately in Attack 2, reclaiming the top spot before lowering the benchmark once again in Super Attack with a 1:13.843 — the only Club 2WD car to break into the 1:13s during the event.

Neil Robson remained firmly in the fight throughout in the BMW 135i despite the team battling temperature-related issues as the afternoon conditions intensified, while Jonny Fletcher continued his strong progression through the field with another consistent improvement across the sessions.

Barker also remained in contention despite reported crank sensor issues affecting Attack 2, recovering for Super Attack to finish just 0.354 seconds away from Fan’s eventual benchmark pace.

👉 Key takeaway: Donington transformed Club Class into a genuine shootout, but Fan still delivered when the pressure peaked.

CLUBMAN / POCKET ROCKET / CLASSIC & RETRO — Benchmarks Continue to Fall

The combined Clubman, Pocket Rocket and Classic & Retro categories once again produced some of the closest and most varied competition of the event.

Dean Riley delivered another standout performance in the Mickeytoones Racing Vauxhall VX220, leading Attack 1 before returning in Super Attack to secure the quickest overall time of the combined categories.

Clubman, however, evolved into one of the most competitive battles of the day.

Clive Hopwell’s Volkswagen Golf R initially established the benchmark pace and topped Attack 2, but David Dyson steadily closed the gap throughout the event before producing the quickest Clubman lap in Super Attack aboard the Ninemeister Porsche 991.2T.

Michael Hume continued his strong start to the season in Pocket Rocket Naturally Aspirated with the Honda-powered Renaultsport Clio, while Gary Papworth once again controlled Pocket Rocket Forced Induction in the Norfolk Mini Racing Cooper S.

Donington also saw several official Donington Park National class benchmarks lowered during the event, including new reference times in Clubman, Pocket Rocket NA and Pocket Rocket FI.

👉 Key takeaway: As temperatures rose and conditions evolved, the final sessions became a test of who could continue finding pace late into the day.

Next Stop: Brands Hatch

The 2026 Time Attack Championship now heads to Brands Hatch on 14th June as part of Tunerfest South, where the increasingly tight margins seen at Donington suggest the fight for outright pace is only just beginning.

The 2026 Time Attack Championship opened in style at Cadwell Park during Modified Live, with changing conditions, fresh builds and several standout performances shaping an intense opening round of the season.

From a damp morning warm-up to increasingly faster afternoon sessions, the day steadily evolved into a battle of outright pace and late-session improvements, with several drivers finding crucial time when it mattered most.

PRO – Griffiths and Gallacher Trade Blows in Tight Pro Fight

The Pro category delivered some of the closest margins of the event as Simon Griffiths immediately established himself as one of the drivers to beat in the V8-powered Ginetta G56 GT.

Griffiths topped the opening Attack session before returning in Super Attack with a 1:27.354 lap that remained the quickest Pro time of the day.

But the pressure increased throughout the afternoon as Andrew Gallacher steadily closed the gap in the AG Motorsport Mitsubishi Evo. Gallacher responded by topping Attack 2 and finished the final Super Attack session only half a second away from Griffiths’ benchmark pace.

Bradley John also remained firmly in contention throughout the day, ending Super Attack less than six tenths from the outright pace in the Riverside Racing Evo IX.

Although Griffiths ended the day quickest overall, Gallacher emerged with the strongest points return among the championship contenders.

In Club Pro, Aleksandr Volkov guided his rebuilt Nissan GT-R through a demanding day where reliability proved critical, remaining in contention throughout the event to secure the class victory.

👉 Key takeaway: Griffiths delivered the headline pace, but Gallacher ensured the Pro fight stayed close all day.

CLUB CLASS – Vincent Fan Dominates on Debut

One of the standout stories of the entire event came from Club Class newcomer Vincent Fan.

Driving the Toyota GR Supra, Fan topped every session across the day — from warm-up through to Super Attack — immediately establishing the car as the benchmark package in class.

Despite Fan’s control at the top of the timesheets, the chasing pack continued edging closer as conditions improved. Luke Capehorn, Neil Robson, Jonny Fletcher and Andrew Kime all remained within striking distance across the timed sessions, keeping the pressure on throughout the afternoon.

Super Attack ultimately saw Fan produce a 1:33.888 to secure the quickest Club Class time of the event, with Capehorn ending the session just 0.357 seconds behind.

Fletcher’s recovery through the day was also notable after a difficult warm-up session left the JDF Racing Astra well down the order before climbing back into contention later in the event.

👉 Key takeaway: Vincent Fan arrived and immediately became the driver everyone else was chasing.

CLUBMAN / POCKET ROCKET / CLASSIC & RETRO – Late Improvements Define the Day

The mixed Clubman, Pocket Rocket and Classic & Retro sessions produced some of the biggest improvements as the track conditions continued to evolve.

Clive Hopwell’s Volkswagen Golf R emerged as the benchmark Clubman package by the end of the day. After a cautious start in the damp morning conditions, Hopwell steadily lowered his times through each session before producing the quickest lap of the combined field in Super Attack.

David Dyson remained in close contention throughout in the Ninemeister Porsche, while Adam Taylor continued improving session-by-session in the Lotus Exige.

Dean Riley delivered another highly consistent performance in Classic & Retro. The VX220 remained near the front across every timed session and topped both Attack runs before narrowly missing out on the quickest overall combined-class time in Super Attack.

In Pocket Rocket NA, Michael Hume’s Honda-swapped Renault Clio continued to improve throughout the day after setting the early pace in warm-up, eventually securing class honours ahead of a closely matched field of Civic challengers.

Gary Papworth controlled Pocket Rocket FI from start to finish in the Norfolk Mini Cooper S, consistently remaining clear of the chasing pack across the timed sessions.

👉 Key takeaway: As the circuit evolved, the final sessions became a battle of who could continue finding time late into the day.

Next Stop: Donington Park

The 2026 Time Attack Championship now heads to Donington Park, where the early benchmark drivers from Cadwell will attempt to defend their advantage as rivals arrive with fresh data, revised setups and unfinished business from the opening round.

RS Interclub licence holders can now compete in every Time Attack class for 2026 – opening the door to a new level of competition.

Time Attack has removed one of the key barriers to entry for the 2026 season, with drivers now only requiring a Motorsport UK RS Interclub licence to compete across all classes.

For competitors in the UK Sprint and Hillclimb scene – where the RS Interclub licence is already standard – the impact is immediate. Drivers who may not have previously considered Time Attack can now enter the championship without upgrading their licence, or compete on a round-by-round basis at circuits of their choice.

The change creates a clear pathway for a sector of the sport already closely aligned with Time Attack. Across Sprinting and Hillclimbing, there are highly developed, performance-focused cars that naturally fit the Time Attack model – both in engineering approach and outright capability. With the licence barrier now removed, that crossover has never been more accessible.

While Sprint and Hillclimb competition is built around point-to-point runs, Time Attack offers a different challenge: multiple timed laps on full circuits, allowing drivers to build pace, refine performance and maximise track time across a session. It’s a format that rewards the same core principles – precision, control and outright speed – but within a circuit environment.

Beyond accessibility, Time Attack also places competitors in front of large trackside audiences, with events taking place at major UK automotive shows including Tunerfest, Modified Live, GO Japan and JDM JAM. Across the season, drivers compete in front of thousands of spectators – adding a level of visibility and atmosphere beyond a typical club motorsport event.

Paul McErlean, Head of Motorsport at Time Attack, said:
“This is an important change for 2026 because it removes a genuine barrier for drivers who already have the right kind of car and experience – making the step into Time Attack far more straightforward.

This is also about giving RS Interclub licence holders the opportunity to step onto premium circuits and compete – using the same licence and the same equipment they already run.

There is a strong overlap between Time Attack and the sprint and hill climb world. Many of those competitors are running exactly the sort of cars that fit naturally with what we do, and now the licence position makes that transition straightforward.”

For drivers looking for a fresh challenge without starting from scratch, Time Attack now offers a clear and accessible next step – combining competitive track action, strong event platforms and a format built around outright performance.

Drivers not yet holding an RS Interclub licence can apply easily through Motorsport UK, with a simple online process and self-declaration medical.

Drivers interested in competing can find out more via the Time Attack Compete With Us page: https://www.timeattack.co.uk/compete-with-us/

Time Attack Organisation welcomes FUCHS Lubricants as Official Partner

The Time Attack Organisation (TAORG) is pleased to announce a new partnership with FUCHS Lubricants, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of oils and lubricants.

The agreement will see the FUCHS brand represented across all TAORG-run championships and national events, including the Time Attack Championship, Racing Hondas Championship, Drift Pro, and TAORG’s seven major car shows: Tunerfest, Go Japan, Modified Live, and JDM JAM.

Andy Barnes, TAORG Managing Director said:

“I am delighted to welcome FUCHS Lubricants into our organisation as our official partner. I know FUCHS products are widely used by many of the racing teams in our paddock as their oil of choice, making this a highly relevant and natural partnership for us.

This collaboration will help strengthen the connection between what our fans, car club members, and show attendees see performing on track and the products they can confidently choose for their own vehicles. I have personally used Fuchs oils for over 25 years, which makes this partnership both professionally and personally very fitting.”

Russ Kenyon, FUCHS UK Head of Automotive, commented:

“We are extremely excited to be partnering with such a complete and competitive organisation, offering FUCHS a great platform to showcase its comprehensive automotive lubricants range, to a very passionate audience.

The Racing Hondas and Time Attack Championships have great appeal, and I’m excited to get immersed in the increasingly popular car shows.

Here’s to a great season!”
