Round 7 – Advance information and entry invitation

NewsPosted on 7th September 2021

Round seven sees our second visit to Brands Hatch this season. Regarded as the championship’s home track, the Time Attack events held there are always popular – and with the second running of the Go Japan show taking place, it’s destined to be a well-attended occasion. Indeed, even with restrictions in place, the first running of the show in 2020 was a resounding success.

Celebrating Japanese automotive culture like no other, as well as Time Attack which started out in Japan, the show hosts four races featuring the Tegiwa Type R Trophy and Milltek Sport Civic Cup. Also on track during the day are Drifting displays and a special JDM parade.

Competitors wanting to enter Run What You Brung should note that for this round, the category has been amalgamated into the main Time Attack sessions as an Invitation Class. Therefore, an RS Inter Club competition licence (minimum) must be held and not an RS Clubman as previous. This is obtainable from Motorsport UK. All other RWYB regulations remain as before.
