The 2026 Time Attack Championship returns to Cadwell Park on Sunday 20 September for Round 7, as the season reaches its conclusion within the Modified Live event.
After six rounds of competition, the championship returns to where it all began back in May. Since then, cars have developed, lap times have been chased and championship battles have taken shape – now there is just one final opportunity to score points and finish the season on a high.
Cadwell Park provides a fitting setting for the finale. Its narrow layout, dramatic elevation changes and iconic Mountain section demand precision and commitment, with little room for error as competitors make their final push of 2026.
Time Attack is focused on one objective: setting the fastest lap.
There’s no wheel-to-wheel racing. Each driver competes against the clock, pushing to extract the maximum from car and circuit within their class.
Across the day, competitors take part in multiple timed sessions, building towards the Super Attack Final where the quickest laps of the event are set.
The 2026 championship features a broad range of classes, from lightly modified road-based cars to highly developed time attack machines:
With no rounds remaining after Cadwell Park, this is the final opportunity for competitors to add to their championship points totals and determine the 2026 standings.
The Time Attack Championship will be on track four times, spread throughout the day:
Each session allows drivers to refine setup and improve lap times, building towards the Super Attack where the fastest laps of the day are delivered.
Between track sessions, spectators can explore the paddock, get up close to the cars and speak with the drivers and teams as they prepare for their next run.
Check the official event timetable for full session timings.
Seven rounds, seven circuits visits and a season of competition comes down to one final day at Cadwell Park.
For some competitors, the focus will be firmly on championship positions; for others, it will be about securing a class win, setting a personal best or simply ending the season with their strongest performance.
For spectators, the finale is the last opportunity of 2026 to see the Time Attack grid in action and watch the season’s final laps unfold around one of Britain’s most distinctive circuits.
Whether you’re looking to compete or experience the action trackside, the season finale at Cadwell Park promises a full day of competitive Time Attack action.
Round 7 takes place within the wider Modified Live show, adding a full programme of automotive displays and on-track entertainment alongside the championship action. Live timing will be available throughout the day.
