The 2026 Time Attack Championship continues at Donington Park on Bank Holiday Monday, 25 May, as Round 2 heads to one of the UK’s most iconic and high-speed circuits.
Following the season opener at Cadwell Park, teams and drivers arrive at Donington looking to build momentum early in the championship campaign. With fast flowing sections, heavy braking zones and long high-speed corners, Donington Park presents a very different challenge and rewards confidence, commitment and precision.
Set within the JDM JAM event, Round 2 combines competitive Time Attack action with one of the UK’s biggest celebrations of Japanese automotive culture.
Time Attack is focused on one objective: setting the fastest lap.
There’s no wheel-to-wheel racing. Each driver competes against the clock, pushing to extract the maximum from car and circuit within their class.
Across the day, competitors take part in multiple timed sessions, building towards the Super Attack Final where the quickest laps of the event are set.
The 2026 championship features a broad range of classes, from lightly modified road-based cars to highly developed time attack machines:
Every lap counts as the championship battle continues into Round 2.
The Time Attack Championship will be on track four times, spread throughout the day:
Each session allows drivers to refine setup and improve lap times, building towards the Super Attack where the fastest laps of the day are delivered.
Between track sessions, spectators can explore the paddock, get up close to the cars and speak with the drivers and teams as they prepare for their next run.
Check the official event timetable for full session timings.
With the opening round complete, Donington Park provides the first real opportunity for competitors to establish early championship form.
Fast lap times, changing conditions and close competition across the classes are expected throughout the day as teams continue developing both car and setup in pursuit of championship points.
For spectators, Round 2 offers another opportunity to experience the 2026 grid in action at one of the UK’s most recognisable circuits.
Whether you’re looking to compete or experience the action trackside, Round 2 at Donington Park promises a full day of competitive Time Attack action.
Championship entries are now open. Spectator tickets are available via the JDM JAM event page, and live timing will run throughout the day.
Round 2 takes place within the wider JDM JAM event, adding a full programme of Japanese performance car displays, automotive attractions and on-track entertainment alongside the championship action.
