In true Time Attack tradition, the first event in this year’s calendar takes place at Cadwell Park for the Championship’s annual early May Bank Holiday visit to this unique and highly popular venue. Set deep in the Lincolnshire countryside, this famous circuit celebrates its 87th year and although renowned for its motorcycle meetings, it provides a perfect amphitheatre for a high-speed round of Time Attack.
With its changes in elevation and series of technical bends, it’s one of the most demanding circuits in the UK and consequently a firm favourite with the drivers and spectators, who can watch the non-stop all day action from the many and varied vantage points around the track.
As well as featuring round one of this year’s Time Attack Championship and the first edition of the easily accessible Run What You Brung series, the event also hosts two Civic Cup Championship races.
Unfotunatly, due to Covid restrictions, spectators are not permitted and the UK’s much-loved tuning show Modified Live cannot take place. Therefore, the track action all takes place behind closed doors this year.
Here’s what’s in store:
- Time Attack Championship Round 1
- Run What You Brung Time Attack x 4 sessions
- Civic Cup x 2 races
