Rounds 2 & 3 – Advance Information & Entry Invitation

NewsPosted on 20th July 2020

Next up: Cadwell Park double-header.

We are pleased to announce details of our second and third rounds for our delayed and compacted 2020 season. Our annual visit to Cadwell Park has moved from it’s traditional May date to August, the first time a round has been held at the venue at this time of year since 2014.

As was the case for round one, due to the current national restrictions and guidelines in place, the event will look and feel a little different than before, with a series of safeguarding measures, practices and procedures having to be followed. This includes no on-the-day scrutineering, signing-on or drivers’ briefing. Similarly to round one, this will be carried out remotely and require the filling in of a declaration form that will be forwarded to registered competitors.

Further information about the control and mitigation of risk from the Coronavirus can be found in section 19 of the Supplementary Event Regulations that can be downloaded below.

On Sunday, the event hosts the first supporting show of the season, Modified Live. However, because of the restrictions the show will be held in a separate part of the venue away from the competitor area. Consequently, the public will have no admittance to the paddock. The weekend also welcomes the return of the BSSO scooters, which will be racing on both days.

All competitors who are registered for the season or have entered this meeting on a single-round basis, or as a Run What You Brung competitor, will automatically receive details of the Covid-19 safeguarding guidelines, Final Instructions and further information relating to this event.

For those that haven’t entered and are intending to join us, we invite you to do so ASAP. Because of the restrictions in place and the new procedures that are having to be adopted, entries received after 8th August WILL NOT be accepted.

Please find a series of links below, from which you can download the relevant documentation and further details about the event, including Championship and RWYB entry forms incorporating the revised calendar and entry fees.
